Biography

Surg Capt Maninder Hundal, VSM is a Prosthodontist of established repute and is currently serving as the Officer in charge, of the Dental Centre of Indian Naval Hospital Ship Kalyani at Visakhapatnam which is a prestigious institute of the Indian Armed Forces. It is the largest naval service hospital concerning infrastructure as well as the availability of different specialist services in the eastern region of the country. 
Dr. Maninder Hundal has served the Indian Armed Forces for 25 years now. She has been awarded numerous awards by the Indian Army as well as the Indian Navy for her meritorious work in serving the organization in both Field as well as Peace establishments at different parts of the country. Her awards include the Vishisht Seva Medal (VSM) awarded by the President of India, the Chief of Army Staff commendation card, The Chief of Naval Staff commendation card, and The Vice Chief of Naval Staff commendation card. 
She did her Bachelor's in Dental Surgery from Govt Dental College Amritsar, Punjab in 1997 with a Gold medal in her final year and her Masters in Prosthodontia from the Armed Forces Medical College Pune, Mumbai University in the year 2001-2004. She has also been awarded a fellowship in oral implantology by the IDA Mumbai.
She is an avid National and International speaker with 34 National and 21 International scientific paper presentations to her credit to date. She has carried out 07 research projects until now.  She also has numerous scientific publications in her name both in Indian and foreign reputed journals.
She has successfully treated patients requiring varied types of prostheses i.e. maxillofacial/ laminates/ veneers, crown and bridge work with different materials and varied designs/concepts, removable and complete dentures of different types, implant-supported prostheses, etc.
